No one in the Puffs is going to save the world, but they're not supposed to.
What to expect during auditions: Auditions will consist of different games that will display improv skills and willingness to be a little bit zany.
What to bring to auditions: Great comic timing, conflicts with your schedule from 9/7 -10/9.
Is there a stage crew? There are 7,000 props for this show and each one is creative to say the least. We will need a stage crew to create, run the lights & magic needed, and of course a stage manager.

All information will be posted on our website in early October. Call back materials will be provided but the level of preparation is decided by those asked to attend. Not getting a call-back does not mean one is not in the production.

What if I play a fall sport? First, let us know you are interested. We may be able to work out a schedule with you to be able to end your season and be part of this production. You never know until you ask.
Is there a stage crew? Yes, we need to build Santa’s toy shop, NYC, and a million little places in between. We will need help with props (how good are you with an Etch-A-Sketch), lights, and a stage management team.

SYNOPSIS: A creepy, kooky, mysterious, and spooky evening with the Adams family as they tell a story of love, friendship, growing up and growing wise. Although it may not be the story of an average family, the comical and moving story of one of America’s most misunderstood and beloved families is sure to charm one and all.
What to expect during auditions: Bring a friend and just have fun... all materials will be provided and taught for the initial audition faze on the night of the audition. One will be asked to sing and dance in a small group (all to the materials taught that night). Materials will be provided for individuals invited for a call-back audition, but the level of preparation for that step will be up to the individual. Not getting a call-back does not mean one is not in the production.
What to bring to auditions: Dress for success...you want to make the right impression. You are not trying out for the basketball team - so sweats, leggings, shorts, may not be the right look to go with. Other things to bring: a water bottle, a positive attitude ready for some fun, and the completed audition form with a photo that will not be returned.
What if I play a fall sport? We can make it work...as of right now there are no events scheduled on the audition nights, if for some reason that changes, please email us and we will make something work. This must be done prior to the evening audition on 11/15.
What about the pit? This production brings back both winds and strings! The pit will be seeking woodwinds, brass, strings, and SO MUCH percussion! Auditions will be held sometime in November with a few rehearsals/read-throughs beginning in December. You can expect to rehearse 2-3 times a week in January, 3:00-4:30/5:00-ish with more rehearsal time scheduled in February leading up to the show. A full (or as close as humanly possible) schedule will be created and shared prior to pit auditions.
Is there a stage crew? Yes, we need sets and props designed, built, and painted. We also will need lighting, fly workers, special effects, a stage manager and a host of other jobs. Give it a try! We can be flexible with days needed for other clubs/events/work in the early portion of this facet of the production.
Will there be rehearsal over Winter Break? No - we will not be having formal rehearsals over break, but there will be things you will need to work on over the break on your own time.
Will there be rehearsals on Saturdays in January? Yes - certain roles will be asked to come in on some Saturdays for rehearsal time. ( living members of the Beinekes and/or Addams family) This would most likely not be a full day... please include Saturdays and availability on your audition packet. ( For example, if you would need to be out by 3:00 to work that evening...just let us know that)
What if I plan to audition for WSMA Honors Ensembles? The schedule and how WSMA plans to do auditions for the Honors Ensembles has not yet been released. Once WSMA releases their schedule, we will communicate to interested students which date would be the best to audition. We will then work with WSMA to schedule your audition times so that you can make both commitments work.
